Two Crowns Catholic Recovery

Who We Are
“That night I asked the Mother of God what was to become of me. Then she came to me holding two crowns, one white, the other red. She asked me if I was willing to accept either of these crowns. The white one meant that I should persevere in purity and the red that I should become a martyr. I said that I would accept them both.” - St. Maximilian Kolbe
Two Crowns Catholic Recovery is a community of Catholic men who are committed to overcoming substance abuse through the power of prayer, penance, and the sacraments of the Roman Catholic Church. We believe that addiction is not just a physical and emotional issue, but a spiritual one as well. We understand that true recovery is a process of healing the mind, body, and soul. With this understanding, we come together to support one another in our journey towards sobriety and salvation.
Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we seek to imitate the selfless love of her Son, and to follow in the footsteps of St. Maximilian Kolbe, the patron saint of drug addicts, who gave his life for another. We embrace his red crown of martyrdom (dying to the substance) and his white crown of purity on our path to holiness and consecrate ourselves to Jesus Christ through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
We welcome all who are struggling with alcohol/drug addiction and are seeking sobriety and a deeper relationship with God.
St. Maximilian Kolbe, pray for us.
